FANTABULOUS!!

To dream more... learn more... do more and become more. That is what I have learned in the month of November. I may not be in the classroom but my experiences say it all.

One day in November, I received a phone call from DepEd - CSCA. It was one of the most astonishing and important phone calls I have ever had in my whole life. I was told that I will be on of the Philippine delegates to the ASEAN China Linkage Program in Malaysia for ten days.

During my stay in that foreign country, I met friends and have visited lots of beautiful and historic places. I also got a chance to study there.

After Malaysia, I went Cagayan de Oro City in the island of Mindanao. It wasn`t really easy there. We, National Fedaration of SSG Officers, crafted policies and revised some Constitution and By - Laws. After our hard days, we also had times to roam around the city. I fell in love with this place!

There is only one word that I could describe my experience ...it is fantabulous!!!Fantastic and Fabulous!

"MOVING FORWARD"

Days really fly fast . . . There are times that I feel like I just want to throw up. I had nights when I sat up late and got up early too. But as what I had promised during the first grading I doubled my efforts.
Honestly speaking, I was always out of the classroom. Well, not always but almost always. That fact makes my efforts vague or distorted. My thoughts were bombarded with my reviews for contests and seminars as well. As for my TLE subject, I have been acquainted with this HTML thing. It was fun to be knowledgeable of this stuff. Especially before, I thought HTML is real hard. But a popular saying is right; practice makes perfect. For the other subjects, they were getting harder and harder.
Problems appeared on my way again. It was difficult for me to cope with the lessons I had missed. Rushing or cramming things was ultimate solution for this grading period in order to survive.
But to face the future, I am advised to balance the things I handle and yes, pray to God, my greatest hero.

It's SHE!

She is known as a great teacher
Who molds every student into a leader
She's one of a kind, very rare
You can truly feel her love and care

Her students treat her as a mother
Because through thick and thin, she's always there
For more than three years, I've been with her
In a family called SSG, we work together

"S" is for Science and Success

In a world that is steeped in history and science; the past still harmoniously co- exists with the present. Because progress could be encountered when the humanity could follow the flow of transition of the world and changing science culture.

Let's adapt! There are lots of new inventions in our world today. These inventions were based from the previous ones. Thus, we can say , these are really improved. So these things must be properly used by us. We should not waste such innovations and let us be aware of those things... They are for our development.

As days pass by, there will be more great inventions that would come to our world. The humanity has to embrace those properly. Soon, our historic and scientific world will chronicle the metamorphosis of science culture which made way to people's success!

FILIPINO: Our Language

Filipino is widely- spoken from all over the country... May it be from the urban and rural places. All of us definitely know that it is our National Language. And this language is something we must really treasure.

The language Filipino is something we must be proud of too! There are many personalities who have sacrificed just to preserve and embellish this said language. We have the "ama ng wikang Pambansa" who is the former President Manuel L. Quezon. This truly proves that our language is historic and have surpassed the tests of time.

A statement from Dr. Jose P. Rizal has been already a cliche which reminds us to love our language. We must be aware and proud that our language is one of the Austrenasian Languages.

Because of the Filipino, our language, we can express our thoughts, feelings and sentiments. We are using it in our everyday life and has been with us since time in memorial. :) Yes! Filipino is our language!

Fun Learning

I personally believe that through our first hand experience, we can have an interesting discovery about the world. As a senior student, I already got lots of learnings for the first grading period. In telling all about those, I rather start with the subject which taught me the history of the Internet. Because of TLE, particularly the Computer Education, I became a more efficient researcher and blogger. I honestly enjoy our TLE Class. Besides it, I have also nurtured my prior knowledge for Trigonometry, Advanced Physics and Chemistry, Economics, Values Ed, English, MAPEH, Filipino and Research.

Sometimes, it's really hard to balance everything. I've had sleepless nights and full of busy days. Some lessons were also quite hard.

Those challenges inspired me to work harder. I kept in mind that I should always be a responsible one. And so, my primary solution was Time Management. I divided my time in the way a believed right. Funny but I really prohibitted myself from throwing up or simply being "reklamador". To lighten some dilemmas, I usually run to my friends and ask for help.

Looking back, first grading period was a fun learning... a fun journey! As I go on, I will double my efforts. I'll help myself to learn more not just theoretically, but practically as well. And I promise, I will be a nicer person. Because I by- now understand that when you're pleasant, more people come to you; more ideas spurt out of nowhere, and eventually, more room for personal growth. I support SPEAK IN ENGLISH OR FILIPINO CAMPAIGN ;)

Nouns, adjectives, adverbs... Subject and predicate. We study those in our English Class ever since kindergarten. Some even think that they have already mastered this International Language. But it's a big no. We have known this language theoretically. Do you have the confidence to use it in our everyday life?

Same is true with our so- called Pambansang Wika. People especially in the rural places still prefer to use their dialects or vernaculars. The real reason behind this is the wrong notion of each of us. Sometimes, we don't even have a chance to speak these two languages without being embarrassed.

So now I say, I really support this Speak in English or Filipino Campaign. Let us be reminded that we have our freedom of speech. But then again, we must always consider respect for human dignity. Let's be courteous! Don't be shy and show the best you've got! :)

Be Healthy and Wealthy!

What should you have in order to do your daily tasks? To cope up in our world today, one must be fit enough. If you are still vigorous even after your routine and don't always get nauseated, in that case i say, you are really a healthy person. But if you are not, do not be green around the gills... I'll edify some ways that you could do to be hale and hearty.

Proper Nutrition, they say... You have must the so- called balanced- diet where you should eat the GO, GLOW and GROW foods. The Go foods contain carbohydrates which serve as our energy. Glow foods are the vegetables and fruits which are full of vitamins and minerals. While the Grow Foods are the meats that we eat and so, we obtain protein. Each of those is important enough and must truly be taken equally.

Positive Lifestyle. This may be a very broad concept but i tell you, this is sumple. you must exercise daily, maintain the apt hygiene, stay away from drugs and cigars, and consult your doctor. These are actually seemingly small details on how to have a good lifestyle. But i know that through these, diseases especially those malignant, could be prevented.

I strongly believe that if you follow the things that i have stated, diseases could not attack you. What else should i say? Have an adequate nourishment, be healthy and wealthy!
